The Project

A weekend house near the water in Goa, furnished for long mornings and slow light. Every piece was drawn for its exact place — a bench that holds the window, a table that holds the afternoon.

The Approach

Furniture drawn to the width of its window.
Nothing free-standing, nothing generic — each piece was measured against the opening it serves, so the house and its furniture read as one continuous work.
Materials

Teak & hardwoods
Old-growth teak, rosewood and oak, seasoned slowly and cut along the grain. Finished with oil, never lacquered flat.

Cane & weave
Hand-woven cane and natural textile, used where a surface should breathe — doors, screens and seating.
